If you’re passing the corner and Grand and Morrison and wondering where the lurid yellow building went… It didn’t go anywhere. We just painted the outside and called it Dig A Pony. We open in one week. We serve drinks. You should come.

We don’t normally encourage this behaviour, but as Thomas did such a great job for us on our Grand Opening flyer, we let him up there for just a second.
Another piece of Portland history! Check out this Electrical Safety Tag from 1917. We discovered it while dusting down the overhead beams. We’ll be displaying this and other treasures we’ve found like this around the bar.

Working On The Bar Top. Our friend Jason Rens was lamenting the fact that craftsmen rarely get the credit for their handy work. So we thought we’d take this opportunity to tell you that he sanded and varnished our bar top this week and did a fantastic job. We can’t wait for you all to see it!
Getting our piano tuned today. We just found out it’s 123 years old!
